The smooth and flowing curves of the 6010A’s Minimum Diffraction Enclosure™ (MDE™) are pleasing as an object of aesthetic elegance. 5040A subwoofer also features an unobtrusive, modern appearance. Easily at home in a multitude of decors, the 5040A blends in with its surroundings just as well as it blends in with the 6010A’s, magically adding its firm, deep-reaching bass response as if from nowhere. The minimalist, modern forms obviously drawn by a gifted designer. Indeed, the 6010A and 5040A have been created in co-operation with internationally acclaimed Finnish designer Harri Koskinen.
And when you play your favorite music through your new 6010A’s, you’ll realize the difference that Genelec’s 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing active loudspeakers makes. Those gentle curves on the enclosure are acoustically functional and the integrated amplifiers and active crossover circuits have been matched together with the custom made loudspeaker drivers. These and other design features like the flow-optimized reflex port and rock solid die cast aluminium enclosure have been applied from the award-winning Genelec 8000 Series professional monitoring loudspeakers. With such pedigree, the 6010A can only sound amazing. |
