MassCore
Ramses MSC incorporates Merging’s new MassCore mix engine technology within Merging’s integrated Pyramix system. MassCore is a truly deterministic real-time engine that does NOT rely on the Windows or Macintosh operating systems. This then totally avoids the inherent latencies and processing restrictions caused by using these platforms and allows us to take the channel/track count of Ramses to a new level. MassCore is scalable from 16 to 256 input and output channels with a massive 256 channel bus structure. This enables us to configured Ramses as a true console with pre-configured, or user configurable input, output, mix and monitors buses, comms as well as multi-track tape returns |
